DouglasREADINGDouglas of Belper sadly passed away on Wednesday 28th May 2025, at the Royal Derby Hospital aged 93 years.

Devoted husband of the late Joyce Reading. Douglas was dearly loved and will be missed by all his family.

A service to celebrate Douglas's life is to take place at Markeaton Crematorium on Wednesday 18th June at 2:00pm.

It was a privilege to know Doug. He was a lovely quiet man. When you got to know him he was very interesting to talk to. He especially loved music.
We will all miss his enthusiasm at our concerts at Belper Organ Club.
Rest in Peace Doug, you will be sadly missed
